Monwell "Robby" Salda

Monwell “Robby” Salda, left this earth on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist High Point Hospital. Robby was born October 7th, 1977, in Martinsville, Virginia to Nancy Adkins Penn and Israd “Jerome” Salda both of Martinsville. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.During his years of life, Robby was known as a light, funny, and goofy person. He always radiated a smile and cracked a joke when he seen you. He enjoyed his anime (Sailor Moon-Pokemon) singing karaoke and playing video games (when it came to Wii sports, no one stood a chance against him). Robby was a joy to be around, he was the life of the party. If you had the pleasure of being in his company, then you had a good time. He also loved to cook and was great at it, briefly attending Johnson & Wakes Charlotte.Robby graduated from Martinsville High School, class of 1995. He was a college graduate from National Business College with his associates degree. He worked at FedEx where he really enjoyed his job and was so happy to be a carrier.In addition to his mother, Nancy Adkins (Leonard Penn); his father Isard “Jerome” Salda, he is survived by his siblings; Shunketta (Rabbit) (Stacey Brown), Darrnell (Meatball Head) Salda, Paula Aiken, Terrence Hamlett, and Catina (James Hairston) all of Martinsville. Naki Adkins of Greensboro, NC, Billy (Camelia Williams) of High Point, NC, and Brittany Turner of Virginia Beach, VA. He also leaves to cherish a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Callands Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Callands Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
