Nanette Horton Smith

Nanette Horton Smith, 94, of Martinsville passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She was born on August 24, 1929 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to the late Wilmot Chaffee Horton and Ruth Farrell Horton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and son-in-law Ed Pace.

Nanette had been a member of First Presbyterian Church of Martinsville since 1957.

Surviving are daughters, Becky Smith Schiappa (T.) and Bonny Smith Pace; son, Barry Brian Smith (Dianne); grandchildren, Daniel Koontz (Sara), Farrell Pace and Dyer Pace; great-grandson Tyler Koontz.

A private graveside service will be held at Roselawn Burial Park at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Kings Grant who lovingly cared for our mother over the years.
