Nathan Stancil

Nathan Alan Stancil, age 35, of 1904 Oakwood Drive, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, June 26, 2023.
Nathan was born November 15, 1987 in Low Moor, Virginia to Stephen Stancil and Becky Pedigo Stancil. He enjoyed cooking for several restaurants. He lived in the Outer Banks of North Carolina for several years and loved spending time on the water and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors and snowboarding. He was always ready for adventure and willing to volunteer his time to help people.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Lucille Pedigo, and paternal grandparents, Doc and Dot Stancil.
He is survived by his mother, Becky Stancil of Clifton Forge and Father, Stephen Stancil of Covington; a brother, Chad Stancil of Covington; three uncles, Richard Pedigo of Covington, Bob Pedigo of North Carolina, and Gary Stancil of Christiansburg; as well as several cousins.
In keeping with his family’s wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Bill Gilliland and Pastor Steve Noel officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
