Norman William Mullins
Norman W. “Moon” Mullins, 87, of Lynchburg, VA., formerly of Palm Harbor, FL, has gone to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 1, 2024. He was the husband of Frances “Eleanor” Lumpkin Mullins (deceased); married 62 years. Born Feb 26, 1937, in St. Petersburg, FL, Norman served in the United States Air Force, retired as a Supervisor from Florida Power Corp after 31 years of service, and was an active member and lead usher at First Baptist Church, New Port Richey, Fl. He is survived by two sons, Mark Mullins of San Jose, CA, and Michael Mullins and wife Kimberly Mullins of Forest, VA, and four grandchildren, Luke Mullins, Joshua Mullins, Zachary Mullins, and Elle Mullins; and half-sister Cheri Diggleman, Liberty, SC. Norman was preceded in death by his brother, Robert W. Mullins, and half-brother, Lynwood S. Mullins. A memorial service to celebrate Norman’s life and heavenly homegoing will be held at 6pm, Thursday, 9/12/24, at Bentley Commons, Lynchburg, VA.
