Odell M. Weeks

The sun set for our beloved Odell Monroe Weeks on Tuesday, Aug.13, 2024 when he went to be with the Lord. We were blessed by him for 81 years.

Odell was a retired truck driver who enjoyed being on the road. Being behind the wheel for casual trips with family and friends was a passion.

He also delighted in painting scenic views and enjoyed woodworking.

Odell, a Roanoke County native, was married to Nancy Davis Weeks for more than 61 years.

He is survived by Nancy; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jerry; granddaughter and husband, Trisha and Erick; grandson, Jason; brothers Henry “MC,” and Curtis and wife Darlene; and several nephews and nieces, including Eddie and wife Dormi; and great nephew and niece, Chase and Amelia.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 16 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home-Salem with a service at 3 p.m.
