Orren “Paw” Richard Anderson, 86, of Franklin County, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Georgie Anderson; brothers, Clinton Anderson, Virgil Anderson and Garland Anderson; son-in-law, Michael Rouse.

Surviving him is his loving wife of 36 years, Geneva B. Anderson; children, Steven R. Anderson (Lisa Gibson), Lisa A. Rogers (Chris), Connie Rouse, Russell Bryant; grandchildren, Brandi Boltinghouse, Brittany Boltinghouse (Mandi), Dustin Rogers (Kasey), Colston Bryant (Allie), Bradley Anderson, Sara Bryant, Tammy Rouse; great grandchildren, Austin (Destinie), Dylan, Noah, Orren, Lily, Hayden, Taylor, Jacob, Caleb; great-great grandchild, Drue Sink; sister-in-law, Myrtle Anderson; special family friends, Robert Rouse and Dalton Beckner; and numerous nieces and nephews left to cherish his memory.

Orren enjoyed gardening and cutting wood, he just loved being outdoors. He also had a love for trains and clocks but what he loved the most was his family. Orren was a family man and loved to spend time with his loving Wife and family, He will be missed dearly.

A celebration of Orren’s life will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Road, Roanoke. Visitation will be from 2-3pm Saturday, March 9, 2024 with Pastor Greg Broyles officiating.
Burial will be private.
