Pat Ramsey

Pat Ramsey, Jr, 80, of Amherst, VA passed peacefully on March 11, 2023. He was born on April 16,1942 to Pat and Lucille Ramsey of Buena Vista, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Ramsey. He is survived by his brothers, Robert, Danny, and David Ramsey; his stepdaughter, and husband, Patricia and Samuel Campbell; his two daughters, Patricia Ramsey and Melissa Adkins; and two grandchildren, Cameron Evans and Rachel Adkins. He was well-known for his fun-loving personality and his portrayal of Santa Claus, opening their home for over 25 years to children of all ages. Besides his love of Ann’s cooking, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with her seated right behind him. He was a member of Oronoco Church of the Brethren, living his life in faith. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Oronoco Church of the Brethren with Rev. Arnold Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
