Patricia Joan Roberts

Patricia (Patti) Joan “Mimi” Roberts, 83, of Lynchburg passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Phillip Byrd and Georgia Hager Byrd.Born September 1, 1941, everyone who knew Patti felt the warmth of her spirit. She had a deep love for the arts, and whether it was through playing the piano or supporting dance, she poured her heart into it. Her home was a reflection of her filled with charming pineapple decorations that brought a smile to anyone who visited. Patti had a special bond with the beach and treasured time spent by the ocean. To her family, she was “Mimi,” a name spoken with love that even extended to her grandchildren’s friends, who she welcomed with open arms. She made everyone feel like they belonged, sharing her heart and home without hesitation. In addition to her parents, Patti was preceded in death by her loving husband Curtis Dwight Roberts and her two sisters.Those left to cherish Patti’s memory include her daughter LeAnn Glass and her husband Christopher; and her grandchildren Landen Glass, Greyson Glass, and Rachel Glass.A service celebrating her life and faith will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 3:00pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Lonnie Wickard officiating. The family will receive friends until 5:00pm. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 12:00pm at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Bluefield, West Virginia.
