Patricia Litchford Hatcher

Patricia Litchford Hatcher, born on September 22, 1952, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025. Patricia was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and thoughtfulness touched the lives of many.

A proud graduate of E.C. Glass High School, Patricia excelled with honors, reflecting her dedication and strong work ethic from an early age. She later worked in the manufacturing industry as a receptionist at Craddock Terry, Energy Flow, and then retired from Griffin Pipe. She shared her warmth and friendly demeanor that made her beloved by colleagues and clients alike.

Patricia had a heart full of love and compassion. She always thought of others before herself, embodying the true spirit of selflessness. A dedicated member of Forest United Methodist Church, Patricia found joy and purpose in caring for others within her church community. She especially enjoyed organizing and participating in church yard sales, fostering connections and goodwill among friends and neighbors.

Her happiest moments were spent vacationing in Florida, where she created lasting memories with her family. Patricia’s gentle spirit, nurturing heart, and genuine kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Sammy and Anna Coffer Hendricks. She is survived by her devoted husband, Gene Hatcher; her loving son, Mike Hatcher; her sister, Sandra Trammell; her niece, Tammy Worth (Mike Worth); her great-niece, Harley Worth; her aunt, Ruth Abbott (Maurice Abbott); her nephew, Tim Abbott; along with many cherished cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled by the family at a later date, allowing all who loved Patricia the opportunity to gather and honor her memory.
