Patricia Nicely

Patricia Lynn “Patty” Seldomridge Nicely, age 61, of Graystone Drive, Daleville, Virginia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at her residence.

She was born January 9, 1964 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Edwin Eugene “Gene” Seldomridge and Mildred Miller Seldomridge Marshall. She was a retired printability lab technician for Mead Westvaco and attended Eastlake Community Church, Roanoke Campus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Obert Nicely; and her step father, Aaron Marshall.

She is survived by a daughter, Brittany Nicely Elmore; a son, Ryan Nicely (Gioia) both of Daleville; a sister, Pam Seldomridge Wise (Ed) of Forest; a sister in law, Lynette Nicely Reynolds (Bill) of Covington; a brother, Mike Seldomridge (Linda) of Covington; four grandchildren, Mazi and Meiri Elmore and Giada and Cristiano Nicely; nieces and nephews, Paul, Aaron and Mark Reynolds, Lucas and Lauren Wise; and a number of great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 1:00PM in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington with Pastor Warren King officiating. Pallbearers will be Maurizo “Joe” Cucci, Kelley Marshall, Charles “Mookie” Moore, Stephen Nicely, Tyson Uzzell and Johnny Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Faust and Darrell Nicholson. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
