Patricia Towery Walker

Patricia Towery Walker, 69, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024. She was born February 24, 1955, in Norton, Kansas to the late Loren Lee Towery and Clara Georgia Bardwell Towery.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul James Walker; brothers, Elvin Lee Towery, Ronald Gene Towery, Gary Lynn Towery; and grandson, Damian Ferrell.Patricia worked for Hooker Furniture and AC Furniture for several years. Prior to moving from Kansas to Virginia in 1994 she was a CNA for several years. She loved her dogs and crossword puzzles and enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband Paul. Patricia loved her grandchildren dearly. She was the oldest sister of eleven siblings; with her feisty spirit she put herself in charge.She is survived by her daughters, Laura Ferrell, Misty Gardner (Todd); sisters, Cathy Helwick of Nebraska, Linda (Cindy) of Kansas; brothers, Eldon Towery of Kansas, Dale Towery (Diane) of New York, Michael Towery of Nebraska, Terry Towery (Brenda) of Nebraska, Robert “Bobby” Towery (Cheri) of Colorado; grandchildren, Jacqueline Towery, Serenity Ferrell, Agape Ferrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Services will be held at a later date.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
