Paul was blessed with three sons. Paul Huckfeldt, Jr (Annette) of Martinsville, Virginia; Peter Huckfeldt (Joanne Gould) of Cumming, Georgia; and Robert Huckfeldt (Tami) of Summit, New Jersey.

Paul was a caring brother-in-law to Virginia’s sisters, JoAnn Restrepo (Fabio) of Spring, Texas and Barbara Bon Giovi of Tonawanda, New York.

His best buddies in life were Jack Schertzer, Fred Neuffer, Bill Mallner, and Henry Walker.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at King’s Grant and especially Chaplain Paul Johnson for their diligent care of Paul in the past two years.

Paul was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Martinsville, Virginia. He was a graduate of Hofstra College of New York. In 1951-1953, he served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for Delta Airlines in marketing and charters and retired in 1989.

While working at Delta (and even after retirement), Virginia and Paul enjoyed traveling the world: Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, Hawaii, Alaska, Denmark, Poland, etc. His other hobbies included cooking (and eating!), sailing, painting, stained glass making, and photography.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Episcopal Church of Martinsville or the Macular Degeneration Association.
