Peggy Anne Reynolds Smith

Peggy Anne Graham Smith passed away on October 28th at home with her daughter and granddaughter by her side.  Peggy was born in Roanoke VA, August 27, 1934 and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her infant son, George William Graham, daughter Jean Anne Graham Bruggerman and husband/children’s father, Carl Lee Graham; husband Jesse Gradon Smith; sister Esther Junior Byers, brother-in-law Luther Clinton Byers; and her sister Jessie Madline.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Karan Lee Graham; granddaughter Barbara Anne Painter, son-in-law Ricky Allen Painter, great grandsons Spencer Gold Smith and Kace Lawrence Painter; step daughter Sonya Gaylor Frazier; and niece Brenda Byers Hall. 

The family is very grateful for the loving care Peggy received from Good Samaritan hospice care at the end of her journey.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
