Peggy Bishop

Peggy Bishop passed away on March 1, 2026.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of over 50 years to Charles James Bishop, who survives, and the daughter of John and Lois Nunley, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Earl Nunley. Peggy was a long-standing member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church.

In addition to he husband those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rhonda Hawley Patsell and husband Butch; step daughter, Gloria Meadors and husband Larry; step son, Robert L. Bishop and wife Regina; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be provided to Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
