Peggy Nunley Barker

Peggy Geraldine Nunley Barker, 80, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Archie L. Nunley and the late Lucy Hartman Nunley. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Blair.

She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Garden City and was retired from ITT in Roanoke.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeanie Wickline; grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Blair, Jami Deen Wickline, and Shawn Lee Wickline; great-grandchildren, Tayten, Shaelyn, and Emerson Lee; siblings, Gertie Graves, Elwood Nunley and his wife Paulette, and G.K. Nunley and his wife Sally; as well as her closest special friend, Brenda McKay.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Bible Baptist Church in Garden City with Rev. Rick Brown officiating. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service at the church.
