Penny Ann Smith

Penny Ann Smith, 52, of Catawba passed away on April 24, 2024 at her residence.

A native of Virginia she was the daughter of Dennis and Wilma Smith, both deceased. Penny loved watching all of her children play basketball, softball, and football when they were growing up. She was very crafty and loved finding things on the side of the road or even rocks in the river and turning them into beautiful creations. Penny was easy going and loved sitting around joking and talking for hours with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Chasidy Williams, Chelsea Arthur, Kaley Williams, and Dagan Williams; three grandchildren, Aubreigh Arthur, Addyleigh Arthur, and Lakyn Williams; two brothers, Glen Smith and Mike Smith; her sister, Lisa Gray; and her beloved dog, Harley.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

A private graveside service will be held in Hall Cemetery on Newport Road in Catawba.
