Philip Williams

Philip Eric Williams, of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, September 1, 2023 at his residence.

He was born December 15, 1955 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Charles and Nettie Nicely Williams. He was a retired equipment operator for CSX Railroad. Philip loved to ride his motorcycles, NASCAR and hunting.

He is survived by a daughter, Ashleigh Williams of Clifton Forge; a son, Philip Arthur Williams of Eagle Rock; two brothers, Charles “Wayne” Williams and wife, Rita and Carlton Williams both of Clifton Forge; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11:00AM in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Mr. Chris Fisher and Mr. George Broughman officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Pallbearers will be Scott Williams, Danny Ailstock, Chazy Nicely, Micky Downey, C.R. Nicely, Glenn Clark and Todd Williams.

Friends may visit at any time at the residence of Wayne and Rita Williams, 315 Clark Lane, Clifton Forge.
