Phillip Nelson Wilkes

Phillip Nelson Wilkes, 72, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Phillip was born on April 16, 1954 in Campbell County, VA to the late Lena Ruth Keesee Wilkes and the late Willie John Wilkes.

Phillip was of the Christian Faith. He worked for over 30 years at Times Fiber Inc., previous to his retirement. He had a special love and passion for fishing and went as often as he could go.

Phillip is survived by a son; Anthony Wilkes and wife Elizabeth of Chatham, VA and six grandchildren.
