Randall Lee “Toot” Murden, 51, of Spout Spring, passed away on September 12, 2022, at Lynchburg Health and Rehab.
Born in Lynchburg on March 14, 1971, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Murden, Sr. and Patricia Bates Murden. “Toot” was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church. He loved people, hugs, stuffed animals which he called his babies, fishing, trips to Nags Head, sweet tea, gospel music, and “Jesus God”.
He is survived by three brothers, Dale Johnson and wife, Bernadine of Daytona Beach, Fla., Richard P. Keeler, Jr. and wife, Connie of Lynchburg, and Robert E. Keeler and wife, Melody of Spout Spring; a very special cousin, Vicky C. Phelps and husband, Richard, Jr. of Gladstone; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Murden, Jr.
A graveside service will be held 3 pm, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church with Dr. Robert Phillips II officiating.
