Randall "Randy" Lyle

Randall “Randy” Lyle, 68, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Lyle, and his brother, Don Lyle.

Randy enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures, including bowling, golfing, and fishing. Above all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren, and his great-grandchild. He also had a special place in his heart for his special furbaby, Mallie. The memories made with his family will be treasured by those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon Lyle; our children, Chad Lyle (Mary) and Lindsey Robertson (Richie) and his son, Daniel Lyle); his eight grandchildren, Landin Lyle, Andrew Robertson, Bentley Robertson, Hailey Robertson, Mason Lyle, Gracie Lyle, Zakkary Lyle, and Jesse Lyle; his great-grandson, Jaxson Robertson; his brothers, Mike Lyle (Linda), Robert Lyle (Bonnie), and Willie Lyle; his sister, Diane Roark (Ronnie); sisters-in-law, Billie Turner (James) and Donna Early; as well as many numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the funeral home, with Pastor Wayne Wyatt officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in the Cardiovascular ICU for their great care of Randy. The family would also like to express their deep appreciation for everyone who has offered their support, prayers, and love during this difficult time.
