Randle Sidney Carrell, 95, of Vinton died Thursday, August 1, 2024. He was a son of the late James W. Carrell and Rua Ragland; 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Florence “Tossie” Howell Carrell; sons, Gary C. Carrell (Vicky) and Richard J. Carrell (Colleen); four grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday. August 5, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at Lotz Funeral Home, 305 E. Washington Ave. Vinton. A celebration of Randle’s life will be held 11:00 am, Monday, August 6, at Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton with Pastor Glenn Giles officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery-Vinton.
