Regina Spencer Warren

August 15, 1935 - May 3, 2026

Regina Spencer Warren, 90, of Bassett, passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2026.

Born to the late Harvey Spencer and Kate Fretwell Spencer, Regina lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lindsey Warren; her brother, Troy Spencer; her sister-in-law, Inez Spencer; and her cherished daughter, Kitty Lane Warren Wilson.

Regina is survived by her loving niece, Pam Rakes (Junior); two great-nephews, Brandon Rakes (Pam) and Trevor Dean Rakes (Katelyn); as well as several cousins who will fondly remember her kindness and warmth.

Regina worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Henry County Small Loan in Bassett, Virginia, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

A lifelong member of Blackberry Baptist Church, Regina devoted much of her time to her church family, serving faithfully in many roles throughout the years. Her commitment to helping others extended into the community, where she volunteered with organizations such as Stanleytown Health and Rehab and the Stanleytown Recreation Center. Through her service, she touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of compassion and generosity.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Blackberry Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Chad Janey will be officiating.

Regina will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
