Reta Dudley Kent

Reta Ann Dudley Kent, our beloved angel, has departed and gone to Heaven to be with our Lord. Reta passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Franklin Memorial Hospital at the age of 73. She was born on January 25, 1951, in Franklin County, VA to Irene and Board Dudley.

Reta is survived by her loving husband, Robert Page Kent II; her three children - Kevin, Brandi, Russell and wife Ashley; her six grandchildren - Keoni, Kaden, Kelee, Korbn, Jacobie and Natalie; her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Ed Korcel; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Reta and Robert were married for 57 wonderful years. She loved crocheting, puzzles, reading romance books, and watching wrestling. She dearly loved her dog, Britches. Reta attended Glade Hill Baptist Church for many years.

A ceremony in loving memory of Reta will be held at Flora Funeral Service in Rocky Mount, VA, on May 29th. Visitation begins at 5 pm and will be followed by a service at 6 pm.
