Richard "Dickie" Strock

RICHARD STROCK, known as “Dickie” to friends and family, left his earthly home on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Dickie was born January 4, 1948 to Garnet & Nell Durham Strock at their home in Bland County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garnet Roy & Jamie Nell Durham Strock, his brother, Donald Strock and his sister, Patty Strock.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife and caregiver, Dianne Burress Strock; his step-children that he loved like his own, Lyndsey Hudson Eastridge & Travis Eastridge, Leigh Ann Hudson Dunford & John Dunford, Ashley Parks & Matthew Parks; his grandchildren, Taylor Pike, Hailey Pike, Jocelyn Parks and Calan Parks.

Dickie was a loving husband and father. We will miss him everyday and hold our memories tight. His long battle with sickness is over.

Per Dickie’s wishes, he will be cremated and there are no public viewing or funeral services planned at this time.
