Richard Duane Neal

Richard Duane Neal, 83, of Madison Heights, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025 at his residence.

Born on September 12, 1941 in Roanoke, he was the son of the late Warren and Thelma Neal.

Richard loved to travel to Myrtle Beach, golf cart rides, car rides, go out to eat, Coca-Cola, baseball caps, bottle tops, coloring books, his dogs or his “pup pups” as he called them, and his family most of all.

He is survived by his devoted and loving family of 14 years, Jackie and Vito Pesce; Taylor Pesce, Hope Pesce; cousin/caregiver Brooke West, who also helped care for Richard for over the last 14 years; and cousin Sandra West.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m at Whitten Monelison Chapel. Interment will be private.
