Richard Jeff Sprinkel

Richard “Jeff” Sprinkel, 57, of Botetourt, passed away, Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Jeff was a member of the PGA for 29 years and was a 1984 VHSL Golf State Champion. Jeff was a visionary for developing the first indoor golf school in the Roanoke Valley. His passion was as a coach, mentor, and instructor for several division one college golfers, countless golf champions around the Roanoke Valley, and countless kids in his junior golf camps. One of his other passions other than golf, was rescuing and finding homes for countless dogs.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father Richard E. Sprinkel. He is survived by his spouse Robin Sprinkel; mother Sandra G. Daugherty (Neil); brother, Russ Sprinkel.
