Richard Latt Gardner Elliott went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23,2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Gardener Elliott and Homer Latt Elliott, and his brothers, Charles Elliott and Robert Elliott.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon Elliott; daughter, Twyla Elliott; sister, Rachel Hancock; brother, Billy Elliott; sister-in-law, Lois Elliott; granddaughters, Taylor Dooley and Erin Flint; as well as 6 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was proud of his service to this country as an Army veteran. He loved the outdoors, animals, and people. Throughout his time here, he enjoyed a number of activities including golfing, restoring old cars, woodworking, and building outdoor furniture.
