Richard "Wayne" Booth

Richard “Wayne” Booth, 84, of Moneta, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024.  He was a son of the late Robert Wilson Booth and Mary Jane Simmons Booth.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Clara Jane Wirt and husband Jack.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Peggy Fore Booth; brother, Robert Cecil Booth and wife, Nancy; brother-in-law, Terry Fore; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service celebrating Wayne’s life will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, December 6, 2024, at Jeters Chapel Cemetery, 5288 Jeters Chapel Road, Vinton, Virginia 24179  with Pastor Greg Rogers officiating.
