Richard Wright

Richard Alan “Bubba” Wright, age 48, of Dagger Spring Road, Eagle Rock, Virginia died Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at his residence.

He was born September 16, 1978 in Virginia to June Austin Willis and the late Joseph Wright. He was a welder for Gala Industries, and a member of Eagle Rock Fire Department. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, cutting wood and helping anyone in need.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a step mother, Ruth Wright and Grandmother, Roxie Wright.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Faidley Wright; two daughters, Hannah Browdan (Chris), Ria Jordan (Jesse); a step son, Bo Jordan (Dawn); a sister, Amanda Tribbett (Andrew); a brother, Daniel Willis (Laura); his mother, June Austin Willis; five grandchildren, Lilly Belle, Trinity, Rikki, JJ, Joseph; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
