Ricky Layne Bridges

Ricky Layne Bridges, 64, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024. Ricky was born in Rocky Mount, VA on October 26, 1959 to Mrs. Ellen Yvonne Petty Bridges and the late Ernest Lacy Bridges.

Ricky was of the Baptist Faith. He worked for many years as a Equipment Operator for South East Plant Services.

In addition to his Mother, Ricky is survived by a sister; Tina Bridges Mitchell of Pelham, NC; a brother; Darrell Wayne Bridges of Yanceyville, NC; his special friend and life partner; Annette Yeatts of the residence; his special friend; Dewey East of Chatham, VA; a niece; Rebecca Lane Bridges; three nephews; Joel Wayne Bridges, Bobby Lee Mitchell, an Tony Wayne Mitchell; and three grandchildren; Renee, Raiden, and Rain.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 at 11:00am at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Donald Shields officiating.
