Eulogy for Robert G. Seighman Jr. –  Dec 18 1968 – Dec 14 2023

Our combined family has suffered a great loss. On December 14 2023, Robert G. Seighman Jr passed away peacefully in his sleep, he was 54.

Robert was a kind yet tough man who started his life in New York state. His family made their way across the states to California where, eventually, his family met ours (Pendleton, Henry, and Martin). He introduced us all to D&D and became an expert at it. He was always good at weaving the tails so that it made for a great adventure, every time. He got his work ethic from his father, who is a retired Marine and was the one of us kids in the group who always had a job. His work in sales was the precursor to his excellent customer service skills. There really is no one in this world that could show you what customer service is supposed to be, like Robert.

Robert was a person you could trust. My wife and I would periodically take trips but needed someone to take care of our cats and house. That is where a trustworthy friend such as Robert shined. I always thought it was a lot to ask for a friend to watch your house, but Robert gladly took on the responsibility. I never had to worry about leaving my things with him. He was also a very helpful person. When my wife became disabled, he would help whenever we needed. If anybody needed help moving, cleaning, painting, or if it was just a stranger that needed help getting groceries into their car, Robert was there. He even helped an old lady, that he didn’t know, do her entire shopping and helped her get them into her car. He also helped me in my time of need when my wife passed away and I really needed a friend. This world has lost a great man and will never forget how his contributions have helped us all.

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, son Martin, son Brayan, father Bob Sr., Sister Melissa, brother Don, and friends
