Robert Joseph Earls

Robert J. Earls, Jr., 65, of Roanoke unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Earls, Sr. and Marie Weeks Dalton; and a brother, Tony Earls.

Robert was a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and attended Virginia Western Community College.

Robert never met a stranger, who didn't instantly become a friend. His exuberance for life and willingness to help anyone will live on in the memories of those that loved him. He took everychancehe could tovisithis daughters in Boston (even if that meant driving a moving truck 12 hours to relocate them to their next homes) but he always called Roanoke home.

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Diane Earls; daughters, Paige Earls and fiance Garrett Blank, Haley Earls and husband Patrick Clarke; grandson, Bodie Robert Clarke; brother, Mike Earls; dog, Brady; grand dog, Fisher; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of Robert's life will take place at Robert's favorite restaurant, Four Nineteen West 3865 Electric Road Roanoke, VA where he could often be found with his family and friends.
