Robert Leon Deal

Robert Leon “Bobby” Deal, Jr., 76, of Martinsville, VA passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Sovah Health-Martinsville. He was born June 18, 1947 in Martinsville, VA to the late Clara Stegall Deal and Robert Leon Deal.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Johnston Deal; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Leon Deal, III and wife, Kim Deal and Tony Jay Deal and wife, Sandy Deal; grandchildren, Alyson Deal, Blake Deal, Macy Deal, and Tyler Deal; and beloved pet, Natalie.

Bobby was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. He worked in the car business for many years. He was always happiest spending time with his sons and enjoying things from go-carts, to motorcycles, to model planes, CB Radios, and target shooting. His family was the center of his life.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Rev. Haywood Alcorn and Mike Johnston officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. A private burial will be held at a later date.
