Robert Michael Noel
Robert Michael Noel, 74, of Blacksburg, VA passed away on Sunday morning (March 2, 2025). Leaving his family with the light of God shining on his face. Telling them, "I have made it home." Robert was born on November 19, 1950, to Jeanette Deshazo and Ozzie Noel in Battlecreek, Ml. Robert was predeceased by his mother, Jeanette Deshazo, and father Ozzie Noel. He is survived by his wife Priscilla Noel, daughters Leigh Edmiston, Brittany Garcia and her husband Adrian, son Roman Noel, grandchildren Kamryn Edmiston, Chase Garcia, nephew Tommy Clarkson, niece Brandy Ross Kyle and her spouse Brandy, Sister Janet Jordan, and brother Ricky McAdoo. With a collegiate background in accounting, Robert was also a Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Army for 10 years. Highly decorated as a Green Beret and a member of the 101st Airborne Division. Robert was an ordained minister who held strong onto his Christian faith. Spending many Sundays as a preacher and as a musical performer alongside his wife. He also enjoyed Nascar, golf, playing guitar, fishing, and spending time with his family. Robert was a big rock 'n roll fan. This quote from Buddy Holly is a wonderful summary of Robert's outlook on life: "Find joy in the little things, for they make life beautiful." A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
