Roderick Lee Johnson

Roderick Lee Johnson, 82, passed away on March 20, 2024. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on May 11, 1941 to the late Kelly Johnson and the late Geneva Stowe Johnson. He was also predeceased by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Rosa Mae Willhite Johnson.

Roderick was of the Christian faith, and worked for many years in the construction industry building houses, previous to his retirement.

Roderick is survived by two daughters, a son, two sisters, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by a sister and four brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2:00pm at Norris funeral services Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with pastor Joey Bray officiating. The interment will follow at the Johnson family cemetery in Dry Fork, VA. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 1-2:00pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon chapel.
