Roger Gene White

ROGER GENE WHITE, 67, of Bastian, VA, left this world for a better one on Monday August 5, 2024 with his wife, Judy, by his side.  He was born January 4, 1957 in Princeton, WV, the son of the late Basil & Iris Mae White.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Valegene  (“Basil”) & Iris Mae Hubbard White,  and two brothers, Gene White and Robert White.

Surviving Roger is his wife, Judy Faulkner White; his son & daughter-in-law, Danny & April White; his daughter, Violet Ann Abshire; his granddaughter. Annabell Abshire; his sisters & brothers-in-law, Iris White, Verna & Johnny Loggins, Brenda & Johnny Wyrick, Judy Johnson and Letha & Glen Davis; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marilyn White, John & Rama Faulkner and Jane & Alan Miller; and his niece and nephews, Jenna Lazardis, Alan Miller, Aaron Miller and David Faulkner.

Roger always had a smile and loved the outdoors. He always had a hunting story to tell.

Roger was loved by many and he will be greatly missed, but, we will reunite when our time comes.

Roger didn’t want an elaborate funeral, just a simple cremation.
