Roger Junior Lawson

Roger Junior Lawson, 67, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023. He was born December 8, 1955, in Martinsville, to the late Ernest Jake Lawson, Jr. and Ruby Jane Coleman Lawson.

He had been employed by Lawson Heating & Air and enjoyed crafts, being an artist, and building model cars.

Roger is survived by his sisters, Janie Lawson, Shirley Foster (Frankie), Joyce Lawson and Geneva Spillman; niece, Jennifer; nephew, Brian; great nieces, Destiny and Cheyenne; and great nephews, Steven and Jake.

The funeral will be Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Payton Gilbert officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lawson Family Cemetery, 220 Community Church Lane, Stuart, Virginia.
