Roger Lee Boone

Roger Lee Boone, 73, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025. He was born April 29, 1951, in Rocky Mount, Virginia, to the late Thomas E. Boone and Geneva Law Boone.

Roger desired to live a quiet and peaceful life. He was known as a kindhearted, giving soul to those that called him friend. Knowledge and wisdom were most certainly his divinely appointed spiritual gifts. Left behind to carry Roger's legacy, his grandchildren will forever hold Papa in their hearts. Ella and Isaac were the light of Roger's life. Fly high, Pop. We will see you again soon.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, of 51 years; son Collin (Amy); grandchildren, Ashley, Ella, Isaac; brother, Jerry; and sister, Elaine Garrett.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Faith Fellowship Building Fund at 100 Wirtz Road, Wirtz, Virginia, 24184. Please join the family in celebrating Roger's life Monday, April 28, 2025, at Faith Fellowship Church. Visitation will be held at 10:00 with a service to follow at 11:00.
