Ronald "Barry" B. Mann

Ronald B. “Barry” Mann, 67, husband of Ruth Ann Furrow Mann, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at his home with his wife by his side. He was the son of the late William and Ruby Taylor Mann.

Barry spent his 40 plus year career working in the residential and commercial paint industry, working for companies such as Glidden, PPG, and Lowes. He was a faithful member of Rainbow Forest Baptist Church for more than 30 years where he sang in the choir and the Praise Team. Barry enjoyed spending his free time playing golf, bowling or traveling when possible.

He will be missed and remembered by his wife of 46 years, Ruth Ann; brother-in-law, Michael Furrow and his wife Kim; niece, Ashley Chattin and her husband Matt; nephew, Chase Furrow and his wife Emily; great-nieces, Tessa Furrow, Della Furrow, and Emersyn Chattin; as well as special friends, Danny and Tammy Tester.

Services to honor and celebrate Barry’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, 1338 Rainbow Forest Drive, Troutville, VA 24175. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lafayette Cemetery Fund, in care of Mary Lou Hawley, 5285 Historic Drive, Lafayette, VA 24087.
