Ronnie Lee Martin

Ronnie Lee Martin, 58, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026. He was born in Martinsville, Virginia, on September 7, 1967, to Clyde W. Martin and Joan Amburn Bell. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Lonnie William Martin, Sr. and Chad Lynn Martin; and stepfather, Arnold “Rick” Bell.

Ronnie was a self-employed landscaper for many years. He enjoyed hunting and raising his farm animals and going to BINGO night at Meadow View Elementary School.

In addition to his mother, Ronnie is survived by his wife, Angie Denise Sherrick Martin; children, Jason Matthew Martin (Brianna) and Michelle Amburn Martin; step-son, Alex Sherrick; sister-in-law, Sheila Martin; niece, Kayla Hope Martin; nephews, Lonnie William Martin, Jr., Shawn Nicholas Martin, and James Anthony Martin; grandchildren, Brileigh Martin, Joliee Martin, Theodore Martin, and Oliver Martin; and great-nephews, Braxton Martin, Hunter Martin, and Luca Martin; aunts, Joyce Walsh, Barbara Shively, and Bonnie Thompson; uncle, Richard Amburn; and many special friends.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Norris Funeral Services – Martinsville and other times at the home of his mother in Fieldale. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at Norris Funeral Services – Martinsville with a burial following at Roselawn Burial Park.
