Roy Eugene “Gene” Fields

Roy Eugene “Gene” Fields, 61, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Salem VA Medical Center. He was born March 14, 1961, in Martinsville, Virginia to Clyde Ray Fields, Jr. and the late Barbara Jean Tabor Yates. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Gene enjoyed woodworking and metal craft work.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Dwayne Fields.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Wanda Jean Wilson Fields; sons, Christopher Allen Warren, Sydney Fields and Adam C. Fields; sisters, Kathy Bowles and Michelle Denise Yates (Deese); brother, Curtis Yates; and several grandchildren.
