Ruth Ann Crockett

Ruth Ann Crockett, 76, of Christiansburg, VA went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2024. She passed away peacefully at home in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Fred Crockett; parents, Herman L. and Agnes M. Bowles; and brothers, John R. and infant George Bowles. She is survived by her daughters Tammy Rutrough of Christiansburg; daughter and son-in-law Diana and Jeff Vaught of Blacksburg; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Connie Crockett of Riner; grandchildren: Taylor Crockett, Kaitlynn and Cody Sowder, Ethan and Abi Crockett, Austin and Jordan Crockett; great-granddaughters: Aubrie and Aria Crockett, Sadie Sowder, and a new baby Crockett on the way; and canine companion of 10 years, Beckley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care and Adoption PO BOX 133 Christiansburg, VA 24068. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Dalton officiating.
