Ryan Easley Barrow
Ryan Easley Barrow, 45, of Rockingham, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. He was born August 5, 1978, in Princeton, West Virginia, to Daniel Lee Barrow and Julie Thompson Barrow Lilly.Ryan proudly served in the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was awarded Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.He was currently employed by Blue Triton Brand as a maintenance/tech manager. He served as an aircraft electrician during his time in the Army. In 2013, he received his Associate of Applied Science Degree with a Major in Industrial Electronics Technology from Patrick Henry Community College. Ryan also received a diploma from the United States Army Aviation Logistics School as an Aircraft Electrician. Additionally, he received his certification as a Certified Professional Maintenance Manager.Ryan was a hard worker who also played hard and enjoyed spending time with his family. He treasured the time spent with his children gaming on the Play Station, watching wrestling with Nathaniel, watching horror movies with Rebekah, and learning about the Philippines as plans were being made for a trip very soon. He loved traveling and spending time in the mountains and on the beach. In his free time, you could find him on the greens, golfing.Ryan is survived by his wife, Amanda Michelle Wingfield; father, Daniel Lee Barrow (Tanya); mother, Julie Thompson Lilly; daughter, Rebekah Katlyn Barrow; son, Nathaniel Elijah Barrow; brother, Richard Barrow (Melanie); niece, Kaylee Barrow; nephew, Hunter Barrow and numerous cousins and friends.There will be a visitation, Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Ryan Easley Barrow to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
