Sadie Kelley

Sadie Mae Kelley, infant daughter of Brandon Codie Kelley and Hannah Kelli Sheppard, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was 9 days old.

Sadie is survived by her parents, Brandon Kelly and Hannah Sheppard of 121 East Oak Street in Covington; her maternal grandparents, Roy and Cindy Sheppard of Covington; paternal grandparents, Sandra Shiflett and Donald Kelley; her maternal great grandmother, Loretta Reed; a sister, Kinzlee Kelley; three aunts, Andrea Gordon, Kayla Liddiard (Cody), and Allison Sheppard (Matt Entsminger); two great uncles, Jeffrey Shiflett (Jacklin) and Robert Shiflett, and a number of cousins.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Brandon Nicely officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
