Sandra Gail Kendrick

Mrs. Sandra Gail Kendrick, age 80 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Norfolk on September 28, 1943, to the late Raleigh Bell and Glenna Cooper Bell. Sandra was a member of Salem Church. She was a fantastic cook and loved jewelry making, diamond painting, and spending time with her family.

Surviving is two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Cheryl Kendrick, Chris and Laurel Kendrick all of Liberty, NC; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Garvin Gilley, Dana and C.W. Livengood all of Patrick Springs; her foster sister, Joan Montgomery and husband, Bob of Martinsville; her special friend, Robin Conway; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Salem Church with Pastor John Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Church, 159 Salem Church Rd, Patrick Springs, VA 24133.
