Sandra Kay Southard

Sandra Kay Southard, 69, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at her home. She was born in Stoneville, NC on January 9, 1955, to the late Harold S. Clark and Pauline S. Clark. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Southard, Jr; sister, Linda C. Cardwell; and stepson, Clyde Southard, III.

Sandra is survived by her sister, Mary Dalton (Keith); and brothers, Richard H. Clark (Mitzi), and James W. Clark (Debbie).

Sandy served many years working as a waitress, and was loved by many. She was greatly devoted to her family and her friends. She loved NASCAR races and the Virginia Cavaliers and was known for bringing fun wherever she went. Her infectious smile, sense of humor, and loyalty to those she loved will always be cherished and remembered.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Norris Funeral Services.
