Scott Alen Altman

Scott A. Altman, age 50 of Catawba, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Latrobe, PA on July 3, 1974. Scott graduated from Westminster College with his B-S in Accounting. He served eight years combined with the Army National Guard and the Army Reserves. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved to hunt, fish, and target shooting.

Surviving is his loving wife, Charlene Ottenberg Altman; one son, Colt Altman; his mother, Lynn Campbell Altman; his father and stepmother, William Howard and Cyndi Altman; one sister, Jaime Gianni (James Yurek); two nieces, Jayla and Gianna Gianni; and his best friend, James Love and wife, Natalie.

No public services will be held. Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory are assisting the family with the arrangements. (540)366-0707
