Scott Andrew Adams

September 1, 1970 - March 31, 2024

Scott Andrew Adams, 53, of Salem, VA, went to be with his Heavenly Father after a battle with cancer on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Scott faithfully served as a Youth Leader with CLI Awaken Student Ministries for about 30 years. He had a burden for young people everywhere especially those in juvenile detention centers and was a part of seeing many reached for the Gospel of Jesus.

He married the love of his life, Wendy, in Rockford, IL in 2008. Together they followed the Lord’s calling on their life to open their home to youth in need through foster care, which eventually led to their triple blessing of becoming a forever family with their 3 children, Andrew, Yasmine, and Serena in 2017.

Scott was a wonderful husband and an amazing father showing a love of Christ in a way that provided healing for his family. He was a great friend. If you met Scott, you made a friend for life. He had a fun-loving personality and his smile was contagious. He lived a life of No Regrets. He loved the Lord and his family. He was very proud of his children and loved being their Dad.

In addition to his wife and children, Scott is survived by his brother, Jeff Adams; step-father, Tom Harman; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to all those who have so beautifully shown God’s love to Scott throughout this season.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Christian Life International Church, 1 CLI Way, Salem, VA 24153.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CLI Awaken Student Ministries in honor of Scott’s years in Youth Ministry.
