Scott Howard Martin

Scott Howard Martin, 60, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Scott is survived by his partner of 28 years, Brenda Hoilman; one daughter, Courtney Taylor; three stepdaughters, Kristen Triplett (Matt), Tanya Schilling, Jami Stanley; one stepson, James Hoilman (Julia); one brother, John Martin; two sisters, Peggy Jones (Joey) and Linda Martin; and brother-in-law, Percy Johns. He cherished his ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter and also, several nieces and nephews.Scott was a retired truck driver after many years, due to a four-wheeler accident. He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, gardening, racing and landscaping. He was a master of carpentry and mechanics. There was nothing he couldn’t accomplish.Special thanks to friends and family for prayers and condolences.
