Sharon Conley-Edwards

Sharon Conley-Edwards, 82, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Priscilla Conley; her husband, Richard Edwards; her brother, Dana Conley; her sister, Linda Conley; and her grandson, Ryan Phipps.

Sharon found great joy in playing bridge with her friends and looked forward to their weekly Wednesday gatherings. She cherished time spent with her family and created many lasting memories with those she loved. Sharon also had a special place in her heart for dogs and, throughout the years, welcomed many beloved companions into her home, considering them part of her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth Conley (Christina); daughter, Kimberly Dricker; sister, Heather Park (Eugene Han “Zooey” Park); brother, Devin Conley; her grandchildren, Taylor Dillon (Tanner), Grace Turner (Anthony), and Kayla Childress (Nathan); her great-grandchildren, Sutton, Sable, Tate, Sophia, Tillian, Jackson, and Dawson; and special friends, Joann, Bob, and Paul Dotson.

The family will hold a celebration of Sharon’s life at 10:00 am Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Christ Episcopal Church, 1101 Franklin Road SW, Roanoke, Va.

Sharon’s love for family, friends, and her faithful canine companions will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have known her.
